Prolong the Life of Your Transformer with Accurate Fluid Analysis
Did you know that drawing a small sample of oil from a transformer can help you prolong its lifespan by years? How is this done? By putting the oil analysis experts at Pace Technologies Inc. to work. More than half of all transformer failures can be prevented and a majority of all diagnostic information indicating the condition of the transformer can be derived from the oil. Consult with the Western Canada fluid analysis and electrical distribution experts at Pace Technologies Inc.
Diagnostic & Testing Tools Backed by Advanced Analytical Software
Pace Technologies Inc. complements our inventory of diagnostic and testing tools with a complete PC-based oil diagnostic station including the latest version of Delta X Research Transformer Oil Analyst™ software. This was done to improve turnaround time on oil analysis and to improve reliability in analyzing oil samples. The program uses many separate diagnostic tests, which a manual method of oil analysis could not achieve. The program stores and interprets insulating oil data for mineral oil-filled, paper-insulated transformers.
Industry-Standard Diagnostic Methods Applied to Data
Several industry-standard diagnostic methods are applied to the data when stored, and a unit condition code, an oil quality condition code, and a re-sample data are automatically assigned according to user-modifiable rules. Fuzzy logic and neutral network technology ensure that diagnostic information is available even in borderline cases, where spreadsheets and simpler software may have ‘blind spots’. A detailed diagnostic report and graphical gas history report are generated on demand. A plain-text version of the diagnostic report can be printed to a file for forwarding by electronic mail or for editing.
Diagnostic standards, rules, and interpretive messages are initially set up consistent with current industry practices and are easily customized. Data files are in dBase format for easy access by other software.
